Terms of Use

Effective 7 August 2026 · applies to Sift for iOS

The agreement

Sift is developed and published by Hüseyin Tuna ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Sift, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs where these terms are silent.

The license

You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Sift on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law says we can't stop you.

Purchases

Sift Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple — there is no subscription and nothing recurs. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any of your devices with "Restore purchase". Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com; we have no ability to process them ourselves.

Your content

Your screenshots and photos are yours. Sift processes them entirely on your device and claims no rights over them whatsoever — see the Privacy Policy.

Deletion is in your hands

Sift's cleanup feature deletes screenshots only when you choose to, always behind an explicit system confirmation, and deleted items remain in your Photos "Recently Deleted" album for the period iOS provides (currently 30 days). Please review what you sweep. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for photos you chose to delete.

Reminders are a convenience

Sift reads dates out of pixels. It's good at it, but OCR and categorization are inherently imperfect — a reminder may be missed, mistimed, or wrong. Don't rely on Sift as your only alarm for a flight, a payment, or anything else that matters.

No warranty

Sift is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms for future versions of the app; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use Sift after an update means you accept the revised terms.
